hula hooping

I'm taking a hula hooping class with my friend Steph, starting this Sunday. And I have to say that I'm a little nervous. I've never done any sort of group activity (when I was in grade 5 my teacher made me get out on the gym floor and play floor hockey and all I remember was that I stood there leaning against the wall bawling my eyes out), and ever since then I've always taken private lessons of whatever I took, pottery, swimming, piano...Buut, I'm an adult now so it's really about time that I get my head out of my ass and get out there and do it! Apparently the classes burn a ton of calories so that was pretty much a no brainer for me there.
